SUMMARY:Cedefop seminar: Attractiveness of continuing vocational education and training in the EU
DESCRIPTION:10:00 – 11:45\nVirtual conference \nCedefop’s 9th Brussels seminar\, will this year be organised in cooperation with the Permanent Representation of Germany to the EU on: \nFocus of the seminar \nCedefop\, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training\, will focus during this years’ seminar on the agency’s research activities related to the overarching theme of attractiveness of vocational education and training (VET) with a special focus on continuing VET (CVET). \nObjectives  \nThe seminar aims to consider and discuss: \n\ntrends and characteristics of participation of adult population in education and training in the EU\, taking into account different national contexts and population;\nattitudes towards vocational education and training\, especially continuing VET\, using data from Cedefop opinion surveys on VET supplemented by other international data sources;\npolicy approaches and support measures to facilitate participation of adults in continuing VET.\n\nDetails of the event are available on Cedefop’s website: \nhttps://www.cedefop.europa.eu/en/events-and-projects/events/attractiveness-continuing-vocational-education-and-training-eu \nPractical \n\nThe presentations and debate will be held in English.\nNo interpretation will be available.\nAs the number of places is limited to 120 participants\, we would appreciate it if you confirmed your interest in participating at your earliest convenience by replying to cedefop-communications@cedefop.europa.eu\n\nFollowing your expression of interest\, you will receive an email with a registration link from Cedefop’s conference organiser.
