Cedefop’s 9th Brussels seminar, will this year be organised in cooperation with the Permanent Representation of Germany to the EU on:
Focus of the seminar
Cedefop, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, will focus during this years’ seminar on the agency’s research activities related to the overarching theme of attractiveness of vocational education and training (VET) with a special focus on continuing VET (CVET).
Objectives
The seminar aims to consider and discuss:
- trends and characteristics of participation of adult population in education and training in the EU, taking into account different national contexts and population;
- attitudes towards vocational education and training, especially continuing VET, using data from Cedefop opinion surveys on VET supplemented by other international data sources;
- policy approaches and support measures to facilitate participation of adults in continuing VET.

- The presentations and debate will be held in English.
