As a European social partner, Ceemet is a member of the Coalition for Just Transition for the Automotive Sector. This Coalition calls for a number of measures to be put in place in order to mitigate the effects of the “Fit for 55 proposed regulatory framework” on employment and skills on the MET industries, in particular on the automotive sector. Other industry associations (CLEPA, ACEA etc) as well as industriAll Europe are also members of this coalition.
