Artificial intelligence is transforming our society, as well as our personal and professional lives. It is rapidly becoming a powerful tool in the workplace, with significant potential to enhance productivity and drive economic growth. To restore competitiveness, businesses must be able to invest in AI technologies that support workers in their tasks, improve workplace safety and boost production.
We should also ensure that education systems adequately prepare the workforce to use AI tools effectively.
Mission & Objectives
The objective of Ceemet’s Working Group on Artificial Intelligence is to provide a forum for Artificial Intelligence and technology experts in the MET industry to identify and discuss current issues facing companies. This forum helps to highlight good practices on the use of AI at workplace. The working group aims at producing [DR1] to monitor national and European developments in AI at work, develop positions in response to European initiatives on the subject and promote the position of Ceemet members within the institutions.
This committee meets twice a year.
The Committee Chair is Ville Leppäniemi (Technology Industries of Finland, Finland), and it is coordinated by Pauline Dubois-Graffin.
