As we approach the festive season, this is the ideal moment to reflect on the opportunities we have seized and the challenges we have met throughout the year.
Ceemet’s activities in 2024 were marked by the European elections, for which we were able to contribute by publishing our Manifesto to promote the interests of European MET companies to the newly elected EP representatives. During the year, Ceemet organised various events, especially on skills, addressed many more, contributed to the OSH communication campaign and joined European projects such as Twinning and Trireme. It also became a partner of the EiT Manufacturing.
Throughout the year, Ceemet has continued its social dialogue with IndustriAll Europe to find solutions to the various transitions underway , such as the green transition, the digital transition and the emergence of AI.
If 2024 was a gloomy year for our companies and for European competitiveness, as confirmed by the Draghi report, we hope that the European economic activity will pick up quickly thanks to the introduction of support for investment and the implementation of a plan for European industry. In 2025, Ceemet will continue to promote a competitive Europe, for strong industries and will work towards a constructive social dialogue to support the twin transition.
