Social Security Coordination: The A-Z of A1 forms webinar

Following the success of last years’ Technical Seminar on Social Security: a block for cross border business? Ceemet teamed up with the Labour Mobility Initiative in organizing an online Seminar on 16 October 2020 on the revision of the Social Security Coordination Regulations. The meeting will be attended by practitioners, technical experts and representatives of the EU institutions.

The Seminar will be an opportunity to present arguments in relation to key issues for companies providing services in other member states to the representatives of EU institutions.

These are, for example, the definition of the registered office and the so-called prior notification (pre-notification) to the needs of obtaining A1 PDs.

The highly relevant speakers are MEP Gabriele Bischoff (S&D; DE), the Rapporteur, and Shadow Rapporteurs MEP Dragos Pîslaru (RE; RO) and MEP Jeroen Lenaers (EPP; NL) and with Philine Scholze as expert on the file for the Greens.

Ulrike Geith Head of Division of Labour and Social Policies at the German Permanent Representation to the EU will explain the position of the German Presidency and Director Labour Mobility Jordi Curell will kick off the webinar with an opening statement as representative of the European Commission.
